We are delighted to announce that both Hine Cognac and Kilchoman Whisky will be involved with London Cocktail Week (LCW) 2016, 3-9th October. The weeklong event is described as ‘A festival to inspire, educate and unite cocktail lovers’. LCW wristbands are available to buy for £10.00, and with this wearers can enjoy £5.00 cocktails from bars across the city, as well as parties and tastings.
We are thrilled to be working with Looking Glass in Shoreditch, a buzzing cocktail club on Shoreditch’s lesser trodden Hackney Road, with a secret speakeasy drinking den. They have created a unique Hine cocktail using the recently redesigned ‘H’ by Hine VSOP, especially for London Cocktail Week, entitled Three Steps to Aristocracy. The cocktail combines ‘H’ by Hine cognac, celebrated by mixologists worldwide for its elegant, floral flavour profile, with lively and fresh hints of jasmine, iris and lily of the valley, with Cocchi Americano, Italian vermouth, blackberry shrub and lemon juice.
Next stop on the LCW tour we recommend paying a visit to Milroy’s of Soho, London’s oldest whisky shop and bar. Their LCW cocktail is called Hebrides & Ivory using Kilchoman Machir Bay, highlighting the rich tropical fruit, peat smoke, light vanilla and intense sweetness of this single malt. Paired with Coeur de Genepi, St Germain elderflower liqueur and hopped grapefruit bitters, this Kilchoman cocktail will be a snip for the sum of £5.00 to wristband wearers.
