A rather quiet week with few runners until Friday.

Home of the Brave ran his usual brave race from the front when third in the Group 2 Park Stakes at Doncaster and Vintage Folly was a good second in a Listed race at Yarmouth. Meanwhile Fortitude was a comfortable winner on the same card.

Thursday 14th saw a flood of runners from the yard with eight setting forth. The day started well at Yarmouth with a highly promising debut for Left Alone, finishing well for third. Sea Tide finished strongly for second on handicap debut having taken time to find a gap and the last runner Mazyoun passed the whole field in the last two furlongs to win.

Into the evening and the action continued at Chelmsford with Encrypted appreciating the drop in class to win his race with authority.  With two winners and four in the frame, all in all a productive day.

Significant entries upcoming include Koropick (Listed Race) and White Mocha at Newbury on Friday, Pulitzer in the Group 3 Firth of Clyde Stakes at Ayr and Architecture making her much anticipated return to the track in the Group 3 former Arc Trial at Newbury both on Saturday. One of the stable stars, Architecture finished second in the Oaks and the Irish Oaks last season but has been off the track for the best part of a year.
