For the third year running we were delighted to support this Ladies Lunch in aid of the fantastic charity, Maggie’s. Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.
This year the lunch was held at the Bluebird in Chelsea and saw a record turnout of 200 influential and powerful women, with Anne Robinson as MC. Guests enjoyed a reception of Pol Roger Brut Reserve followed by Joseph Drouhin Macon Lugny to accompany Roasted line caught cod fillet.
The lunch raised a staggering £32,000 which will all go towards funding the build of Maggie’s Barts, located in the heart of London and at one of the oldest hospitals in the country, with world-renowned cancer treatment facilities, St Bartholomew’s Hospital (or Barts) is a natural partner for Maggie’s.
