The 7th Tweed Run proved to be as stunning and enjoyable as the last; we were blessed with glorious blue skies and a cool breeze, the optimal conditions to peddle our way around London dressed in our finest Tweed!

2015 marks the second year of Pol Roger’s support and we continue to be amazed by the effort and ingenuity exhibited by all participants in their outfits and bicycles. From tweed capes to penny farthings, it truly is a spectacular and social bicycle ride.

This year the day started at Trafalgar Square from which point we were led on a 12 mile scenic ride through London. The first stop was the Red Lion Square where all cyclists were treated to a restorative cup of tea and a biscuit. From this point we cycled on to St Pancras Gardens for a picnic luncheon, where the new Pol Roger Portfolio Defender was stationed, replete with picnic blankets, chairs and a champagne cooler, for a very comfortable pit stop! And then finally on to the end of the ride at Bloomsbury Ballrooms, where all weary cyclists were rewarded with a glass of Pol Roger Brut Reserve to celebrate what had been a fantastic Tweed Run.
