Overall, June brought brightness and sunshine to the Pol Roger vineyards, which were thankfully unaffected by the much publicised spring frost. However there was some inconsistency in the weather around the main Pol Roger vineyard holdings which meant that the viticultural team had to carefully monitor the climatic conditions on a daily basis, should the need to intervene should arise.

The perception is that the weather will continue to improve, which bodes very well for the vintage. With flowering happening in mid-June, the family expect the harvest to start during the third week in September.
