The Church of St Mary, Ashwell

The final concerts of this year's series of Music in Country Churches were held at the Church of St Mary in Ashwell, Hertfordshire on 29th and 30th August. Pol Roger is delighted to continue their support of this wonderful charity under the patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales. The audience were treated to a feast of music ranging from Beethoven and Brahms to Prokofiev and Ysaye with tremendous performances from Natasha Korsakova (violin) and Katya Apekisheva (piano). The two evening concerts were augmented by an extar treat on Saturday morning which drew an excellent audience.
