Glenfarclas Cross Country Race Series

J.P.McManus and Enda Bolger continued their domination of the Glenfarclas Cross Country Series with a one two in Friday’s race at Cheltenham. Garde Champetre, ridden once more by Nina Carberry, has become something of a standing dish in these races and he prevailed here by 1 ¾ lengths from stable companion Heads On The Ground. Glenfarclas’s sponsorship continues with the second leg on 11^th December, again at Cheltenham, and then moves to Pau and Punchestown culminating in the final at the Cheltenham Festival in March. The same horse running in all three countries has the added bonus of doubling any prize money won at the Festival.
