Bodegas El Sequé

About El Sequé

Attracted by the rich heritage offered by a region occupied by Phoenician and Roman winemakers, Bodegas El Sequé was founded in 1999.

The unique El Sequé character is shaped by a truly distinctive terroir. Mediterranean weather, ideal soils, Monastrell vines, and a tradition spanning thousands of years combine to provide a wine that is full of fresh aromas and smooth textures.

These are ripe and voluptuous wines that are tempered by a climate of contrasting conditions, with fresh balsamic notes brought by the Mediterranean. El Sequé seeks to follow in the footsteps of its ancient counterparts and continue to produce wines worthy of the legacy of the region.

100% Monastrell

Powerful balsamic notes, mature fruit, unctuous: a fleshy wine that satisfies the character of the Monastrell variety from the old vineyards of El Sequé. Produced from 100% estate-grown fruit, this wine has a clear Mediterranean influence, with warm and calm nuances of black fruit, soft aromas and flavours of aromatic plants.
