Another very quiet week though the yard still managed to add two winners in Gulliver and Delsheer, despite very few runners taking to the track. This takes the total to 63 for the season.

Possibly the most significant runner of the week was in defeat. Silver Quartz, a son of Frankel, made a highly promising debut at Newmarket looking all over the winner entering the dip until just run out of it close home with the rest well beaten. A very encouraging start for Al Asayl the owners.

Entries of note over the next few days include Jousi in the Group 3 Oh So Sharp Stakes and Gifted Master in the Group 2 Challenge Stakes, both at Newmarket on Friday.

Meanwhile Mask of Time and Wall of Fire hold engagements at Caulfield in Australia over the weekend.
