We hosted the third and final event of the Maison Joseph Drouhin Dining Series at the Lido in Bristol last night. Following on from the success of the London event at the Michelin-starred Bonhams Restaurant, and the second event in Yorkshire, at the Black Swan at Oldstead, a fellow Michelin decorated restaurant, the series ended on a high at the Lido, Bristol. Christophe Thomas, Export Director at Maison Joseph Drouhin, welcomed guests to the award-winning and iconic Lido restaurant.
Set within in the stunning surroundings of the Grade-II listed Victorian-era Lido, in the heart of Clifton, guests enjoyed a 5-course menu prepared by Head Chef and owner, Freddy Bird. The menu was paired with carefully selected Premier Cru wines from Maison Joseph Drouhin, culminating with 2011 Chambertin Clos de Beze Grand Cru, which stole the show.
